The latest from writer/director Harmony Korine (Julien Donkey-Boy), in what is the early leader for most bizarre film of 2008, stars Diego Luna as a Michael Jackson impersonator who meets a Marilyn Monroe look-alike (Samantha Morton) and is invited to join her commune in Scotland where she lives with other others including Charlie Chaplin (Denis Lavant) and Shirley Temple. The supporting cat includes director Werner Herzog, magician David Blaine, Joseph Morgan, and Anita Pallenberg as the Queen of England. The film opens in limited release in select cities on Friday.
