Following their escape from the secret facility, “Villa Paradiso” and “The Queen’s Court” focus on Ben (Sean Giambrone), Kenji (Darren Barnet), Darius (Paul-Mikél Williams), Yaz (Kausar Mohammed), Sammy (Raini Rodriguez) making it to the home of Ben’s girlfriend Gia (Beatrice Grannò) where their short respite is complicated by an unknown dinosaur in the area, Gia’s grandmother (Isabella Rossellini) and her hatred of dinosaurs, and the hatching of Bumpy‘s egg. We also catch up to Brooklyn (Kiersten Kelly), with a fancy new robotic arm, now working for Soyona Santos (Dichen Lachman) in her really awful plan to expose dino smuggling.

An oversized issue celebrating Batman, Detective Comics #1100 includes four separate stories from four separate creative teams. The opening silent story presented without dialogue (and featuring the Dark Knight Detective’s use of sign language), “Lost & Found,” features Batman coming across a hearing-impaired kid and helping him find his missing dog (with a little help from Ace the Bat-Hound) taken by some gangbangers. A terrific tale from writer Tom Taylor and artist Mikel Janín, it’s the standout story and is worth the price of the issue all on its own.

The sequel to the Chinese animated film Ne Zha (which was based, partly on Chinese mythology), Ne Zha 2 continues the story of Ne Zha and Ao Bing who are forced to share Ne Zha’s body (leading to All of Me style comedic bits throughout the film). To help put things right, and to save Chentang Pass from invasion, Ne Zha agrees to undertake three quests to become an immortal which would allow him to restore the Sacred Lotus and create a new body for Ao Bing. However, as Ne Zha soon learns, being an immortal isn’t all its cracked up to be.
