Set in the late 19th Century, the town of Trinity is presented to us through the unassuming eyes of Henry Broadway (Brandon Lessard) who has just watched his estranged father (Tim Daly) hung for a crime he didn’t commit. Trinity is your typical Old West town with raucous inhabitants, a sheriff struggling to keep order, and justice often coming from the end of a rope or a gun. Mistaking the current sheriff for the one who framed his father, Henry has a run-in with Gabriel Dove (Pierce Brosnan), although the misunderstanding is quicky resolved.

How to Train Your CGI Dragon

If it’s good enough for Disney, I guess. From a filmmaking feat answering the question of can we make a live-action remake (featuring a hell of a lot of CGI) of an animated movie, the existence of the new How to Train Your Dragon makes sense. Outside of that, I’m not really sure what we’re doing here. Much like the vast majority of Disney’s remakes, DreamWorks’ first attempt delivers a fine, if less slightly less magical, version of the original.

What If…? Donald Duck Became Iron Man

A mash-up of Disney and Marvel under the What If…? banner offers us a look at Donald Duck becoming Iron Man, er, Iron Duck! The film sort of follows the basic premise of 2008’s Iron Man with Donald, in possession of plans for Gyro Gearloose‘s various inventions, is kidnapped by villains who want him to build it for them. Keeping with Scrooge McDuck part of the story, the villains we’re given are the Beagle Boys who have dreams of riches  using Gyro’s new drill which they want to use to drill into Scrooge’s vault.
