Usually the Leverage team picks their marks carefully and makes plans to take them down. However, every so often, the stumble upon a situation that needs resolving. This is the case in the awkwardly-titled “The Shakedown in the Clone-Town Job” in which Eliot (Christian Kane),  Sophie (Gina Bellman), and Parker (Beth Riesgraf) target a small-town mayor (Cedric Yarbrough) whose grift is destroying the town. When the con on the fly fails, the group resorts to turning the mayor’s allies against him and opening a window for the people of the town to step-in and fight for their homes.

Throwback Tuesday takes us back to a 70s spy thriller involving a CIA researcher who got in over his head. Adapted from James Grady‘s novel Six Days of the Condor, the film stars Robert Redford as the sole survivor of an attack on a CIA office in New York City. Contacting the CIA in an attempt to come in only results in another attempt on his life. On the run, with no one to trust, Joe Turner has to work out who wants him dead and why.

H2SH continues following the reveal that Red Hood is working with Hush who begins targeting members of the Bat-Family through any perceived weaknesses or relationships the pair can leverage. Meanwhile, the Riddler (who reveals he’s known all their true identities for some time) offers his assistance to the heroes. The comic continues to follow the pattern of the original Hush arc with plenty of characters jammed within its pages, including Robin bringing in Bane, highlighted in some well-drawn panels whether or not their appearance actually moves the plot forward.

Linda‘s (John Roberts) insistence of a family walk does go exactly as planned in “Like a Candle in the Gym” when Louise (Kristen Schaal), Gene (Eugene Mirman), and Tina (Dan Mintz) get distracted by Fifth Grade Megan (Abbi Jacobson) whose latest obsession with a teacher was caused by an off-hand joke Louise made at school. The trio spend most of the episode attempting to convince Megan that Coach Blevins (Larry Murphy) isn’t collecting sweat for nefarious purposes and then not to upload her “proof” to the Internet. Meanwhile, Linda’s new walking shoes (the true cause of the family walk) destroy her feet to the point Bob (H. Jon Benjamin) eventually begins to wheel her around in a shopping cart.
