The Flash - Paradox

After altering time to save his parents and then attempting to reset things back to normal, Barry (Grant Gustin) finds home isn’t the place her remembered. Joe (Jesse L. Martin) and Iris (Candice Patton) are estranged, Barry still hasn’t made a romantic move on Iris, Cisco‘s (CarlosValdes) brother is dead, and Barry has to deal with another Central City employee (Tom Felton) in his lab. Even a heart-to-heart with Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) doesn’t calm the Flash’s nerves or give him any insight on how to set things right. And his attempt to gather Joe, Iris, Cisco, Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale), and Caitlin (Danielle Panabaker) for a dinner party to work through their mutual problems doesn’t go exactly as planned.

Timeless - The Assassination of Abraham Lincoln

The second episode of the new series sends our three intrepid time travelers back to 1865 on the day Abraham Lincoln (Michael Krebs) was assassinated. While we know Flynn (Goran Visnjic) has plans to change history, once again the episode obscures what his true motives are as history plays out (for the most part) in much the same way. Meanwhile, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) have their own internal debate about possibly doing more than just stopping Rufus and saving Lincoln from assassination. Assuming Flynn is after the other targets of the assassination plot, Lucy and her team split-up to cover the targets. Successful in that none of the other men were killed there’s still the lingering question over how much Flynn’s changes effected their own timeline.

The Big Bang Theory - The Cohabitation Experimentation

A burst pipe in Amy‘s (Mayim Bialik) apartment has domino effects for her boyfriend and roommates. Presented as a five-week experiment, Amy convinces Sheldon (Jim Parsons) to live with her in Penny‘s (Kaley Cuoco) apartment while allowing the newlyweds some much-needed alone time. The results are what you would expect – untempered glee from Leonard and Penny and new struggles for Sheldon and Amy (some of which provides amusing moments including Leonard’s words of advice for Amy). The episode also throws in a B-story involving the Walowitzes most notable for the pair calling and hanging up on Raj (Kunal Nayyar) repeatedly in the middle of the night.
