Adam West and Burt Ward return to voice the Dynamic Duo in this new animated adventure featuring the Joker, the Penguin, the Riddler (Wally Wingert), and Catwoman (Julie Newmar). The direct-to-video feature will release on Digital HD on October 11th and Blu-ray and DVD on November 1st.

Following the events set up in Supergirl: Rebirth #1, the first issue of the new Supergirl series centers around Kara Zor-El‘s struggle to fit in to her life on Earth. Kara struggles against the limitations of both her new cover identity as high school student Kara Danvers and her role with the DEO who want to monitor, and control, when and where the Kryptonian teenager uses her newly-restored powers.
Artist Brian Ching proves to be an interesting choice for the artist of the new series giving it a distinct look and feel. There’s a bit too much classic Peter Parker moping going on her for my tastes as Kara’s lack of understanding with Earth technology (far behind Kryptonian advancements) leads to struggles in the classroom. Writer Steve Orlando balances these sequences with scenes from Krypton showing us how Kara excelled in similar situations on her native world.

The Sixth Season of Hawaii Five-0 continues the rise of Gabriel Waincroft (Christopher Sean) whose plans include taking out other organized crime leaders and getting Kono‘s (Grace Park) husband sent to prison for murder. Grover (Chi McBride) will also get a chance to close a case concerning his former friend and a Federal Prosecutor (Ingo Rademacher) begins a quest to prove corruption inside Five-0.
Highlights include heartbreak and a new love interest for McGarrett (Alex O’Loughlin), Chin (Daniel Dae Kim) discovering family in trouble, the introduction of Julie Benz as a mole withing Five-0 and love interest for Chin, the two-part season finale, Adam‘s (Ian Anthony Dale) prison escape, buried pirate treasure, Danny (Scott Caan) and Grace (Teilor Grubbs) getting stranded when his car is stolen, a farewell to Deb, and another unusual case on Halloween.

Glitterbomb #1 follows a pretty basic horror set-up where our protagonist is exposed to something dark and inexplicable which changes her life. In the case of the new series from writer Jim Zub and artist Djibril Morissette-Phan our lead character is middle-aged actress Farrah Durante struggling to keep her acting career alive in an industry where experience is a detriment. A night on the beach leads to contact with some malevolent force, changing Frances in odd ways and allowing her to release her anger at being passed over for roles in the most extreme way possible.

The opening episode of the new series introduces us Zorn (voiced by Jason Sudeikis), the Defender of Zephyria, Conqueror of the tribes of Agon, decapitator of the dark herdsmen of Grith, who leaves the animated Pacific island to return to California for his son Alan’s (Johnny Pemberton) seventeenth birthday. Zorn immeadiately stands out, not because he’s animated in a live-action world, but because of his warrior nature and complete disregard for, well, everything. Unable to connect with his son, Zorn decides to stay in town a while longer, get a desk job, and try to fit in.
