Scorpion - Crazy Train

A runaway subway train with Paige (Katharine McPhee) and Ralph (Riley B. Smith) aboard sends the entire team into action to find a way to keep all the passengers alive until they can safely stop the train. Once again, one of the better episodes of the season doesn’t deal with world-ending stakes, but a personal story where the fate of members of the team hang in the balance. And, keeping with last week’s theme of Walter‘s (Elyes Gabel) reckless attempts of heroism, the leader of Scorpion will not only find a way to jump onto the moving train but also attempt to sacrifice himself in order to give both Paige and Ralph a better chance at survival.

The Flash - The Darkness and the Light

While delivering an episode that pits the Flash (Grant Gustin) against another meta-human from Earth-2, and allows one of the show’s recurring characters to do double-duty in the episode by playing two distinctly different versions of herself, “The Darkness and the Light” also introduces the S.T.A.R. Labs crew to the Harrison Wells (Tom Cavanagh) of Earth-2. Despite being only super-powered thief on her own world, Dr. Light (Malese Jow) proves to have murderous intentions towards both her Earth-1 counterpart and the Flash when she shows up in town to do Zoom‘s bidding.

The young woman’s ability to tap into and temporarily steal their powers has not gone unnoticed, but the real trouble with how Alice operates is that it leaves each member of the collective weakened and in turn is causing a weakening in the mystical defenses that are keeping out a looming threat too powerful to fight. Their solution, however, won’t sit well with the other members of the Secret Six.
