Wayback Wednesday takes us back to a team-up between Spider-Man and Daredevil under the big top in the pages of Spidey Super Stories #43. After literally running into each other swinging around the Manhattan skyline, the characters will be brought back together at the circus where Peter is sent to take photos for The Daily Bugle and where Karen and Foggy take Matt Murdock as a surprise. In what is the obligatory standalone crossover episode, “With Interest” continues themes of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) struggling with his need to put his skills outside of the courtroom to use. In this episode this involves Hell Kitchen’s most famous blind lawyer walking into a bank during a robbery and finding ways to keep everyone safe, prevent the theft of a rare jewel from a safe deposit box, and dole out a little punishment. The episode works in a vacuum with the various other storylines put on hold for this single adventure which, in part, is also used to introduce Matt to the bank’s assistant manager Yusuf Khan (Mohan Kapur) who happens to have a hero in the family.
