The search for Shaw (Sarah Shahi) leads Reese (Jim Caviezel) and Root (Amy Acker) to a small northern town where on the surface everything seems fine. The more the pair look for the missing refrigerator truck which they believed transported their wounded friend the more odd occurrences the town reveals until our operatives uncover the singular truth about a town turned into an ant farm by Samaritan and toyed with at the computer’s whims to get a better understanding of humanity.

Arrow - Uprising

As Oliver (Stephen Amell) makes his journey home Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Canary (Katie Cassidy), Diggle (David Ramsey), and Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) try to keep Starling City from falling into chaos. With the police removed from the Glades Brickwell (Vinnie Jones) continues to tighten his grip on the city. However, the would-be kingpin’s past will come to bite him in the ass when Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) discovers the identity of Brick’s first victim. While the episode doesn’t deliver the teased team-up of Merlyn and Team Arrow in the end it offers the beginning of something even more intriguing in a partnership of sorts between Thea‘s (Willa Holland) brother and father.

Putting the ominous barrel on hold for most of the episode, although we do learn whose blood was left at the scene, the latest episode of Pretty Little Liars is driven by the return of one character, the bizarre actions of a supporting character, and the arrival in town of a friend of Mona (Janel Parrish) seeking the Liars. In the end each storyline will expose, introduce, or question something tied to the death of Mona, the belief that Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is A, and the identity of Alison’s agents outside of prison.
