You don’t watch Vampyros Lesbos for the plot, but that doesn’t mean the 1971 erotic horror doesn’t hold some surprises. Shot in Turkey (making great use of interesting locales, set dressing, and lighting), and filmed in German by Spaniard Jesús Franco Manera, the film has a vibe and feel far more memorable than one might expect.

Marginally advancing the season’s plot, “Shoot the Moon” feels mostly like a filler episode where we get to spend time with various characters and get to see a couple of sequences highlighting our hero’s new costume while also showing us that Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) has learned a few things from her boyfriend. The Northern Star is still pivotal to the plans of both heroes and villains, but no real movement is made. Bullseye (Wilson Bethel) is confirmed to be the man who saved Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) but the reasons for his actions, and later attack on the anti-vigilante squad, aren’t explored.
