Glee - The End of Twerk

With Nationals on the way Mr. Shue (Matthew Morrison) continues to try and push the New Directions out of their comfort zone by embracing twerking. Sue (Jane Lynch) takes to the airwaves on the latest “Sue’s Corner” to call for the banning of twerking in the entire state of Ohio. Not standing down, Mr. Shue leads the Glee Club in the halls and classrooms of McKinley High School in a twerkfest during a performance of Robin Thicke‘s “Blurred Lines.” Sue’s plan fire Mr. Schuester for his pubic disobedience fails when he enlists the help of the Gee Club to instruct the local school board on a history of forbidden dances none of which are seen as remotely scandalous today as when they first appeared.

Elementary - Blood is Thicker

As Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) does his best to ignore Mycroft‘s (Rhys Ifans) impending departure back to London, he and Watson (Lucy Liu) investigate the murder of what appears to be the kept-woman of a missing computer billionaire (William Sadler) who was stabbed before falling off her balcony and onto the roof of a delivery truck. Holmes quickly sees through the the billionaire’s well-constructed alibi of being out of the country, but the detective is surprised to discover the real reason for the charade (the man is dying from a failed heart transplant) and his real relationship to the victim (his daughter).

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who we continue to look back at some old episodes of the series. The current series has done well in mixing in both old Doctor Who aliends and monsters while providing several interesting new ones. Of those created for the current series there are two that stand-out. Since I’ve already discussed the Weeping Angels, I’ll turn my attention here to my other favorite new Who alien: the Vashta Nerada.

After a crash course in the family from the longtime, and recently fired, butler (T. Ryder Smith), Neal takes his place to find possible proof that the heir is an impostor but the the man’s meticulous, and suspicious, nature of not leaving a single trace of himself (no fingerprints on a discarded glass, no usable DNA on his hairbrush or toothbrush) makes it more difficult than originally planned.
