Spider-Man - Doctor Octopus: Armed and Dangerous

Spidey Saturday takes us back to the 90s New York City and an animated Wall-Crawler. “Doctor Octopus: Armed and Dangerous” introduces another classic Spider-Man (Christopher Daniel Barnes) villain when Doctor Octopus (Efrem Zimbalist Jr.) kidnaps Felicia Hardy (Jennifer Hale), and later J. Jonah Jameson (Edward Asner), to further fund his research into cold fusion. Giving Doc Ock and Peter a connection from Peter’s childhood allows both Peter and Spidey to try different tactics to free Felicia. However, when it comes down to it, the mad scientist will see no reason and Spider-Man will need to take him down.

IF

IF is an uneven, if sometimes quite charming, family film centered around 12 year-old Bea (Cailey Fleming) who discovers imaginary friends are real while staying with her grandmother (Fiona Shaw) after her father (John Krasinski) is hospitalized in need of surgery. The imaginary world is shown to Bea through Cal (Ryan Reynolds) who is sort of the self-appointed agent for the imaginary friends (called “IFs” for short) attempting to unite those who have been forgotten with new children.
