Randy‘s (Caleb Foote) birthday and Franks (Kyle Schmid) growing agitation with too much change in his life anchor the episode where the NIS team looks to solve the death of a Marine found in an abandoned house in what appears to be part of some bizarre ritual. Believing he entered a similar case into the computer, Randy spends too much time in his search for Franks’ liking leading to a confrontation which also highlights Randy’s personality and making the best of a bad situation (even if Franks’ actions do manage to draw his ire).

Unable to chaperone, because of more Damian shenanigans, Bruce finds a way to push himself into the trip anyway making Damian’s plan all that harder to pull off.
