Star Wars: The Clone Wars - Ambush

The first episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars builds on the setting introduced in the feature film set between the events of Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones and Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith. Rather than center around Anakin (Matt Lanter) and his young padawan, “Ambush” is a separate Yoda (Tom Kane) adventure as the Jedi Master travels to the system of Toydaria in hopes of forming an alliance. Set sometime in the indeterminate future, “Bangarang” introduces us to a pair of bounty hunters traveling through space together to hunt down the prey assigned to them by an oversight organization known as RAC. We learn in the show’s pilot episode that somewhere along the way the more experienced Dutch (Hannah John-Kamen) decided to take John Jaqobis (Aaron Ashmore) under her wing and turn him from a small-time thief into a bounty hunter. In the first episode the show also introduces us to the show’s third regular character: John’s brother D’Avin (Luke Macfarlane), a former soldier with a bounty on his head who John is determined to help even if it puts both himself and his partner in danger.
