Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle (Nathan Fillion) investigate an odd case of murder involving a former hooker who someone went out of the way to make a spitting image of Lanie (Tamala Jones) down to cheek implants and her three-month-old hip tattoo. As Beckett and Castle hit a dead end talking to the woman’s plastic surgeon (Annie Wersching), Ryan (Seamus Dever) and Esposito (Jon Huertas) run down a lead Tory Ellis (Maya Stojan) was able to pull from the dead woman’s camera only to discover a second victim hung with fishing line who was taking lessons from a speech therapist (Jim Holmes) to sound, as well as look, exactly like Esposito.

Covert Affairs - There Goes My Gun

In Hong Kong to end the game with Henry Wilcox (Gregory Itzin) once and for all Annie (Piper Perabo), Auggie (Christopher Gorham), and Calder (Hill Harper) can’t have any mistakes. Of course that means things start immediately going wrong. After failing to grab Henry’s courier, and the only link they have to the spy in Hong Kong, Annie plays a hunch and uses the Hong Kong Police to identify the man the courier handed-off Wilcox’s $200 million in diamonds. Although successful, the man turns out to be a Chinese spy (Carl Ng) which presents a new obstacle which Annie turns into a new opportunity by cutting a deal with the man to give up Henry in return for allowing the spy to keep all of Henry’s diamonds.

In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who we continue to look back at some old episodes of the series. The current series has done well in mixing in both old Doctor Who aliends and monsters while providing several interesting new ones. Of those created for the current series there are two that stand-out. Since I’ve already discussed the Weeping Angels, I’ll turn my attention here to my other favorite new Who alien: the Vashta Nerada.

With no murder case of the week to solve The Mentalist centers its entire episode on setting up a fateful meeting to get Patrick Jane (Simon Baker) one step closer to identifying Red John. Over two days the events of the episode slowly build tension as Jane and the CBI arrange for all five of the remaining suspects to be at a predetermined time and place of his choosing allowing Jane to identify and, if The Mentalist gets his way, kill Red John.
