In the finale of the show’s shortened Second Season, the discovery of Theresa’s (Yara Martinez) body in the Mercer’s pool sends Dan (Tyler Christopher) even further over the edge which forces Alec (Adrian Pasdar) to reveal part of the twins’ secret. Realizing his little brother has been lying to him for months, Dan gives Ethan (Blair Redford) an ultimatum to choose either his family or the twins.In the wake of the murder Thayer (Christian Alexander) confronts Emma (Alexandra Chando) about her unresolved feelings for Ethan and offers her an ultimatum of his own, but given Ethan’s decision, and his brother’srecent tragedy, Emma’s choice of Ethan over Thayer comes far too late.

Worlds' Finest #10After the attack on her island by members of Holt Industries last month, Power Girl decides to give her former boyfriend a little payback using her powers to create natural disasters around his most valuable facilities including even causing a small earthquake which accidentally gets a little out of hand.

As Power Girl cleans up the mess she started from spreading any further, the Huntress does some digging on her own and finds out that Michael Holt is Mr. Terrific. The celebration of the successful mission will have to be put on hold as the Huntress learns of Damian‘s death and barely gets away before Batman finds her crying at Robin’s grave.

After missing for several months Kevin Maguire is back, and for the first time in the series’ near year-long run he’s the only artist on display giving the comic a much more cohesive look than usual. I like the idea of Power Girl being far more hot-headed and mischievous in using her powers than either Superman or Supergirl while pointing out what the ramifications of that would look like. The scenes with Huntress grieving over Damian are also handled with care. Worth a look.

Marty (Don Cheadle) hides out in his apartment and licks his wounds following his altercation with the police that left him with a black eye and several stitches. Although he refuses to discuss the matter with his father (Glynn Turman) and brother (Larenz Tate), he can’t hide from Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.) whose mix of anger at what the pair of white cops did to his father and fear that something similar might someday happen to him actually hits Marty far harder than the physical blows that left him bleeding on the street.

Lorelei’s return, and this latest murder, force Jane (Simon Baker) to admit to his role in her escape which Lisbon fears may come to light now that everyone is taking a hard look at Lorelei’s case again.

Krieg’s (Divoff) skills keep Stefan alive from Amanda’s hired soldiers giving Nikita (Maggie Q) and Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) time to get to Switzerland and take Stefan from Krieg.
