One the eve of Adriel‘s (William Miller) big coming out party both sides make preparations. Ava (Alba Baptista) pushes back against Michael‘s (Jack Meade) revelation of the roles both of them are fated to play in Adriel’s defeat according to Reya‘s plan, Camilla (Olivia Delcán) makes a discovery about her connection to Adriel, and Father Vincent (Tristán Ulloa) finds himself with a crisis of faith in his devotion to someone who views and actions don’t feel nearly as divine to the preacher as he once did (although it ultimately doesn’t change his decision to follow the “angel”).

In the desert she meets the king’s son and his bride to be who she saves from bandits as the trio continue together to the king’s keep where the treasure is rumored to lie. The trio must also survive an attack from a tentacled sand beast before getting within sight of the keep, likely with its own horrors including perhaps the rumored ghost of King Gresh.

The Crown of Thorns is a device from his realm and can shut off divine power and was used centuries ago to help trap him under the Vatican. After being lost for generations it now resides in the Prada Museum. It’s time for a heist.

One Piece - Tell No Tales / The Pirates are Coming

The third and fourth episodes of Netflix’s One Piece center around our trio making landfall in the port of Syrup Village after their existing boat begins to sink. The episodes introduce an important new character in Usopp (Jacob Romero) who apparently has lived on the streets since his mother died and is a general menace in his constant crying wolf of arriving pirates to the point when pirates do arrive at the port no one will believe him. However, it’s not the Straw Pirates Usopp is afraid of but the group led by Kuro (Alexander Maniatis) which is hiding as the wait staff of his friend Kaya (Celeste Loots) planning to kill her on her next birthday and steal her wealth. Given the situation even Nami (Emily Rudd) decides it would be in bad taste to steal from Kaya and instead, surprisingly for her, she makes a new friend.
