As the title suggests, the second episode of the series delves into who the murder victim was. While we see Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) attend the building’s memorial to Tim Kono and see the trio break into his apartment to search for clues, the only real answers we get to the question comes from Mable’s memories (which she chooses not to share with her new friends). Tim, it turns out, was a childhood friend whose falling out occurred on New Year’s Eve with death of their mutual friend (Olivia Reis), the truth of which Tim would never speak of.

Throwback Thursday takes us back to the tale of three beautiful former police officers turned private detectives working for a faceless boss known as Charlie. After someone takes a shot at a reporter (Linda Dano), the Angels go undercover at the radio station to catch the shooter. While Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) takes the place of the reporter at the station, with Bosley (David Doyle) working a desk, Sabrina (Kate Jackson) becomes the new reporter in the sky. Meanwhile, Kris (Cheryl Ladd) checks out other suspects while playing the role of a hippie biker chick. However, one by one, each of the suspects are cleared.

Throwback Tuesday takes us back to the tale of three beautiful former police officers turned private detectives working for a faceless boss known as Charlie. While on the hunt for a missing woman, the Angels investigate the Celestial Research Foundation which promises their members contact with aliens in “Unidentified Flying Angels.” The scam is run by a con man (Ross Martin) with the help of a disgraced astronaut (Dennis Cole) to help give the company some legitimacy. While Kelly (Jaclyn Smith) strikes up a relationship with the astronaut under the guise of flying lessons, Kris (Cheryl Ladd and Bosley (David Doyle) become the group’s newest members, and Sabrina (Kate Jackson) plays the unusual role of a private detective who gets caught twice by the goons (once on purpose and once where she’ll need Kris’ help to escape).

The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries #2 comic reviewAfter helping the Dynamic Duo investigate a haunted fun house at a carnival which turns out to be the work of the Joker and his henchmen, Mystery, Inc. earns a trip to the Batcave as a reward with their latest trophy in tow. However, shortly after arriving in the Batcave, the Caped Crusaders are threatened by the sudden appearance of a ghost (which for Shaggy is only slightly more scary than every other piece of the Batcave).

Although it takes a little while for Batman and Robin and the gang to figure out what is causing the ghost, especially given the large clue that both the bats and Scooby-Doo deliver, eventually the cause of the craziness leads back to the item the group brought into the cave..
