Infinite is a half-assed sci-fi film about immortals reincarnated over the years. Mark Wahlberg stars as Evan McCauley, a diagnosed schizophrenic with anger issues and dreams of other people’s lives. Arrested after a drug deal goes wrong, McCauley gets on the radar of two competing groups of immortals calling themselves Infinites who want what McCauley hid in a past life (a weapon capable of destroying all life on the planet).

Sojourner Mullein‘s mission at the far edge of space concludes in the series’ final issue. The City Enduring is on fire, and with only a limited charge left in her ring the Green Lantern has to attempt to bring peace before the civilization destroys itself.
In the end, it’s Sojourner’s words which prove to be the most powerful weapon in her arsenal as she is able to convince the leader of the fleet to stop the orbital bombardment of their own people. The issue ends with an unexpected amount of epilogue, with the Green Lantern remaining in the city to watch it begin to heal and the civilization begin to rebuild. She is also able to find a moment of happiness with one of her new friends before moving on to her next adventure in the current Green Lantern title.

Set between the events of Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back, the first issue of the four-issue mini-series offers a solo mission for Luke. The series is an adaptation of the young adult novel and the first issue puts Luke on the surface of the planet of Devaron pulled by a calling in the Force he doesn’t quite understand after being shot down by Imperials.
The beginning of a larger story, the first issue really serves to set up the three remaining issues to come ending with Luke on the edge of the forbidden Eedit Temple. The issue also introduces us to a few characters, such as Farnay and Sarco Plank as locals who feel like they will have a larger part in the story as it unfolds.

Star Wars #13 acts as a lead-in to Marvel’s upcoming arc which will crossover through their various titles including Darth Vader and Doctor Aphra. Set after the events of The Empire Strikes Back, “Prelude to War of the Bounty Hunters: The Hunt for Han” give us Luke, Chewbacca, R2-D2, C-3PO, and the Wookie Sagwa searching for Boba Fett still in possession of Han Solo frozen in Carbonite.
It’s always interesting to see how artists choose to clothe Luke outside of established continuity, here in his end of Star Wars clothes sans jacket. The search takes them to Nar Shaddaa where someone under the name of Jango Fett has been making a reputation in the local arena.
