Scooby Saturday takes us back to another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. In “All Paws on Deck,” Mystery, Inc. sails the high seas on the cruise ship owned by a friend of Fred (Frank Welker). The locale isn’t a preferred choice for either Velma (Kate Micucci), who we learn has an aversion to large bodies of water, or Daphne (Grey DeLisle), who apparently has some kind of personal vendetta with all marine life.
As for the mystery, it involves a Sea-Creature (actually a pair of them) scaring away tourists from cove’s bottom where the the ship’s dive masters, under the suits, were salvaging lost treasure. The episode is notable for the Mystery Machine getting demolished at the bottom of the ocean (but put back together without much fuss) and Velma capturing the baddies with a giant crane.
