There’s something wrong with Morgan (Joshua Gomez). The longer the Intersect stays in his head the more it appears to be altering his personality. It’s not just his new abilities going to his head, as Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) and Casey (Adam Baldwin) first assume. The Intersect is changing their little buddy – and not for the better.

Carrie-Anne Moss makes an appearance as the head of a rival personal security company as Carmichael Industries’ latest attempt to drum up business hits further snags. The team is hired by a criminal (Jeff Fahey) wanting them to rescues his brother (Justin Hartley) from a nasty gang of kidnappers. The team takes the case only to find out the man they are rescuing is a protected witness under custody to testify against the man who hired them.

As the team tries to sort out the situation Chuck (Zachary Levi) takes on the responsibility of becoming Morgan’s handler and attempts to curb his more reckless impulses which include donning a mask and stopping a robbery and running full speed into danger without any back-up.

I’m a little surprised how quickly the Morgan storlyine has turned but this opens new avenues for the character (who gets to do quite a bit of butt-kicking). I’m assuming the Intersect that was left for Chuck, and is now in his best bud’s head, wasn’t left for them by Beckman (Bonita Friedericy) but was a poison pill by Decker (Richard Burgi) or the shadowy group he works for.

I’ll be interested as well to see how long Moss stays around and if she’s used as Casey’s new love interest, which is teased here. The episode’s B-story involves Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) making a commercial for the Buy More to help drum up business for the struggling electronics store. It works well-enough, and gives an excuse for the character to have more scenes with the Buy More regulars.
