As Chuck (Zachary Levi) and Sarah’s (Yvonne Strahovski) wedding day grows closer the pair split up for the night to attend their respective bachelor and bachelorette parties. Chuck, Morgan (Joshua Gomez), Casey (Adam Baldwin), Awesome (Ryan McPartlin), Big Mike (Mark Christopher Lawrence), Jeff (Scott Krinsky), and Lester (Vik Sahay) head out into the wildereness as Ellie (Sarah Lancaster) throws her sister-in-law-to-be a party of her own. Both celebrations are put on hold when it’s discovered Vivian Volkoff (Lauren Cohan) has learned of the existence and location of Orion’s (Scott Bakula) computer.

Everyone is after the identity of Agent X, the man who Chuck’s father spent his career trying to find and the one man who Alexei Volkoff  (Timothy Dalton) feared. It also turns out Agent X was the world’s first Intersect. And when his identity is finally revealed… well, let’s just say Chuck gets high marks for a surprising twist. I didn’t see this one coming.

Although there are a few groan worthy moments (the mistaken Las Vecas for Las Vegas is far less humorous than the script wants it to be), there are several strong moments her aside from the final revelation. Casey finds a kindred spirit in an unlikely locale, and Chuck finally comes clean to Ellie about his life as a spy, the secret government facility under the Buy More, and the super computer inside his head. With only a couple episodes left in the season, it looks like Chuck is gearing up to go out on a high note, but, then again, I wouldn’t expect anything less.
