Elementary - T-Bone and the Iceman

A bizarre murder after a hit-and-run sends Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) and Watson (Lucy Liu) after a murderer responsible for a freeze-dried victim, the discovery of a theft of highly-controlled cooling gas, and leads them to a fly-by-night cryonics facility. Given the sketch artist’s drawing of the most likely suspect in both the theft and murder turns out to be the most unlikeliest of suspects the detectives have their hands full in discerning the truth of what is actually going on.

The episode’s B-story takes a glimpse of Watson’s family drama which pops up every once and awhile to drive the consulting detective crazy. The latest inconvenience involves Joan’s mother Mary (Freda Foh Shen) who believes Joan’s brother Oren (Steve Park) is cheating on his new bride. While having fun at Watson being stuck in the middle of family drama she can’t possibly solve, the episode reminds the audience of how thoughtful her partner can be when he puts his considerable mind to the task helping to solve an issue that may continue to plague one of the show’s recurring characters.
