iZombie - Real Dead Housewife of Seattle

After eating the brains of a murdered trophy wife, a suddenly fashion-obsessed and status-conscious Liv (Rose McIver) begins snooping into the case which leads to Vaughn Du Clark (Steven Weber) who had been carrying on an affair with the victim in the weeks before her death. A conversation between Vaughn and Gilda (Leanne Lapp), who begins giving Major (Robert Buckley) a new kind of motivation to keep up his nightly activities, reveals an important fact about zombies (and their ability to relive the memories from ingested brains) that the unintentional zombie maker is still unaware of.

“Real Dead Housewife of Seattle” also is notable for bringing back Liv’s old bestie Peyton (Aly Michalka) and putting her right in the middle of the Utopium stoyrline which could easily bring her into contact and conflict with both Liv and Major, along with the less savory Blaine (David Anders), over the coming weeks. Although the two don’t interact directly over the course of the episode, from the tasty birthday treat Peyton leaves for her former roommate we can assume their friendship is on the mend.
