Silk Stalkings - Men Seeking Women television review

Throwback Thursday takes us back to the unsolved crimes of passion in the wealthy playground of Palm Beach, Florida. The death of a young woman connects to other unsolved cases and alerts Chris (Rob Estes) and Rita (Mitzi Kapture) to a sexual predator and serial killer in their midst. Comparing the lives of the victim alerts the detectives to one commonality which informs them how the killer is choosing his victims – through a local magazine’s personal ads. Along with the return of Kim Morgan Greene as psychiatrist Melissa Cassidy who helps Chris on a profile for their killer, “Men Seeking Women” also introduces Kelly Garrison as an old flame, and potential love interest, for Chris (who is very interested in picking up where they left off… but just can’t come to terms with her new part-time job as a stripper.

Rita makes a rather convenient mistake by taking her own magazines on a sting to catch the killer from those who answer her personal ad. Alerting the killer to her true identity almost ends in disaster as he breaks into her apartment with the intention of making Rita his latest victim. The show ramps up the T&A in the episode as “Men Seeking Women” features plenty of steaming sequences including Chris and stripper’s night together, Chris struggling to watch her perform on stage, and the usual casual shots of beach bunnies on the Palm Beach shore.
