Warehouse 13 - Where and When television review

Throwback Tuesday takes us back to a top-secret storage facility in South Dakota known as Warehouse 13. Warehouse 13 is overflowing with agents in “Where and When” which marks the first episode with Helena (Jaime Murray) reinstated as an agent, a choice Artie (Saul Rubinek) is extremely displeased with, and the return of an ailing Rebecca St. Clair (Roberta Maxwell) who needs Pete (Eddie McClintock) and Myka (Joanne Kelly) to solve one final case. After hearing of Rebecca’s blackout during the time of the case, Wells correctly assumes that her time travel machine was used and so history repeats itself as Pete and Myka’s consciousness travels back to 1961 into the bodies of Rebecca and her partner Jack (Chad Connell) to find the artifact (they do) and see if history can be changed (it can’t).

Notable mostly for the use of Wells’ time machine, “Where and When” also offers a nice twist when the agents discover the prime suspect into the death of several women isn’t the womanizing boss (David Anders) but the man’s jealous wife (Tricia Braun) who, like the police, mistook his business interest in the women as a series of affairs. The artifact which was used in the murders is also on of the show’s most interesting, a dagger that turned its victims to glass. Artie’s final note tying the dagger to the Cinderella legend is a nice touch as well. By the end of the episode, Artie has grudgingly softened his stance on Wells reinstatement while Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) has also become less nervous around the former hero, turned villain, turned good guy once more.
