While Neagley (Maria Sten) gets shot at while doing a little light B&E on the deputy commissioner’s home, which isn’t a total loss as it gives a pharmaceutical clue which will help put the pieces together later, Riley (Greyston Holt) gets warned off the case twice, once friendly and once not-so-friendly, by those in the department who want him to stop looking into the death of Tommy Crane (Jhaleil Swaby) who apparently walked into the subway train shortly after being expelled for snooping around the Echo Canyon barn.

Meanwhile, Keno (Jasper Jones), already freaked out about what he saw in the barn, gets another lesson in community after he witnesses the public display Lawrence Cole (Damon Herriman) and Judith (Rebecca Liddiard) put on to teach Mandy (Jessica Clement) her place after covering for him. Concerned about what Cole has planned for his new friend next, Keno makes one more trip to the farm but is unprepared for what he finds.

The failed experiments of Cole and Pierce Woodrow (Matthew Del Negro) continue as they chemically lobotomize another Echo Canyon Farms volunteer. After Renee (Adeline Rudolph) tracks down the lone surviving member of Davros’ unit, Neagley and Riley get thier first look at one of Echo Canyon’s failed human experiments (Jonathan Maxwell Silver) now locked away in a psychiatric hospital.
