Here’s our first real look at Spidey’s return to the big screen in The Amazing Spider-Man starring Andrew Garfield as the Web-Head, Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy, Rhys Ifans as Dr. Curt Connors, Sally Field and Martin Sheen as May and Ben Parker, and Denis Leary as Captain Stacy. Honestly, half of the trailer makes me think this could be a lot of fun… but the other half (Peter’s parents, some of Spidey’s wisecrackin’, and Emma Stone) I still have quite a few doubts about. Spidey swings into theaters on July 3rd.

With the help of a 16 year-old (Tara Lynne Barr) who shares his rage, he decides to grab a gun and hunt down and kill the stupidest, cruelest, and most repellent members of society. Mackenzie Brooke Smith, Melinda Page Hamilton, Rich McDonald, Guerrin Gardner, and Sandra Vergara also star. You can star looking for God Bless America on Video On Demand on April 6th and in theaters in select cities on May 11th.

Based on the novel of the same name written by Jason Pargin John Dies at the End stars two college dropouts (Chase Williamson, Rob Mayes) who discover a new drug that allows the user to drift across time and dimensions. The problem is once they come back they aren’t always human. Paul Giamatti, Clancy Brown, Glynn Turman, Allison Weissman, and Doug Jones also star. Adapted and directed by Don Coscarelli (Bubba Ho-Tep, Phantasm) the film is scheduled to be released sometime later this year.
