When Hal Jordan comes to Gotham City, Green Lantern #30 offers a Green Lantern and Batman team-up. Hoping for help in whatever the Book of Oa showed him, Hal isn’t above trading a few barbs with Batman as the two bicker throughout the issue (although we do end with a few kind words from the Dark Knight Detective).

Another volume of Moon Knight concludes with Moon Knight: Fist of Khonshu #15 which wraps up the “The Haunting of the Wrecker” storyline as Moon Knight drags the drags the possessed super-villain deep within the Midnight Mission as the Scarlet Scarab and Reese attempt to reason with the crazed Executor who is responsible for this madness.

What Transformers #27 lacks in terms of story progression or action it certainly makes up for in jamming as many Transformers into a single issue as possible. Spending a couple of pages with various characters at a time, the most notable takeaways from the issue are the Autobots returning to something resembling full strength for the first time in the comic and getting a new recruit in the first Decepticon to switch sides and join their ranks.

As Cobra Commander‘s absence provides a vacuum that Destro is only too eager to fill, including making overatures to the Joes about a truce concerning “the robots,” Duke and Cobra Commander’s partnership of necessity continues as they manage to evade the Dreaknoks (for a while) only to run into more trouble being captured by Road Pig who holds the pair hostage allowing the Dreadnoks to catch up to them.
