Hmm, we’re about to talk about comics so it must be Wednesday!  Welcome to the RazorFine Comic Rack boys and girls.  Pull up a bean bag and take a seat at the feet of the master as we look at the new comics set to hit comic shops and bookstores today from DC, Marvel, Dark Horse, WildStorm, Vertigo, Dynamite Entertainment, IDW Publishing, and Image Comics.

Okay, I know it’s only October but Marvel Comics has unleashed a sneak peek at its schedule for January 2008.  So what do we have to look forward to in the new year from the House of Ideas?  To start with how about the debut of a new Captain America with a kick ass Alex Ross cover (larger version inside the Full Diagnosis)!  Plus a new series about a dozen WWII heroes sent into the present, the second month of Spider-Man “Brand New Day,” new adventures for the X-Men and the Avengers, plus much, much more.  Check out the press release here.

RazorFine Presents – Captain Carrot

Welcome to the fourth issue of RazorFine Presents Comic Spotlight as we take a look at comic heroes, villains, and everything in between.  This week, with their glorious return to the pages of DC Comics in a brand-new mini-series, we examine DC’s furriest team – Captain Carrot and the Zoo Crew.  Long before Eastman and Larid’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles roamed New York streets a band of anthropomorphic heroes kept an entire world safe from harm.

Spider-Man: One More Day Trailer

“One More Day,” Marvel’s four-part Spider-Man cross-over which began in Amazing Spider-Man issue #544 and will end in next month’s #545 follows Peter Parker, still a fugitive from justice for his choices during Civil War, at a crossroads as Aunt May lies in a coma and hard choices must be made.  At the arc’s conclusion only Amazing Spider-Man will remain in print (and will have multiple issues released per month) as both Friendly Nieghborhood Spider-Man and Sensational Spider-Man will go on hiatus as the hero gets a “back to basics” reboot in “Brand New Day.”  Check out this trailer for “One More Day.”
