In yet another Hollywood remake, Chloë Grace Moretz walks in the footsteps of Sissy Spacek by taking on the role of Stephen King’s Carrie in this tale of an odd high school girl who uses her new-found telekinetic powers to exact revenge on other high school students who bully her. Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Ansel Elgort, Alex Russell, Portia Doubleday, Michelle Nolden, and Cynthia Preston also star. The new version of Carrie opens in theaters on October 13th.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier

Marvel Studios has released the first promotional pic for next Spring’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier. Although we’re only shown the back of Captain America (Chris Evans) in heavy shadow, it does appear the costume will be closer to the one that appeared in Captain America: The First Avenger than the one Evans wore in The Avengers. Captain America: The Winter Soldier opens in theaters on April 4, 2014.

Before Sunrise and Before Sunset writer/director Richard Linklater and stars Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy reunite one more time for Before Midnight which features the continuing adventures of Jesse (Hawke) and Celine (Delpy) nine years after the pair’s reunion in the sequel, and 18 years from the characters’ first meeting in Before Sunrise. Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick, Ariane Labed, Xenia Kalogeropoulou also star. The film opens in theaters on May 24th.
