The latest from director Stephen Frears (High Fidelity, The Queen) stars Bruce Willis as a sports gambler whose luck changes when he meets a Las Vegas cocktail waitress (Rebecca Hall) who turns out a gambling prodigy. Catherine Zeta-Jones, Vince Vaughn, Joshua Jackson, and Laura Prepon also star. Lay the Favorite opens in limited release in select cities on December 7th.
Due to the record-setting box office success of Hotel Transylvania all digital showings of the film in Regal Entertainment Group Cinemas beginning this weekend will include a new animated short, “Goodnight, Mr. Foot” (featuring Bigfoot’s first time at the hotel for monsters) directed and animated by Genndy Tartakovsky (Dexter’s Laboratory, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Samurai Jack). We now have our first look at The Evil Dead remake which stars Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez, Jessica Lucas, Lou Taylor Pucci, and Elizabeth Blackmore as five friends who discover a Book of the Dead in a remote cabin in the woods. Evil Dead opens in theaters on April 12th.
We gave you a first look at Iron Man 3 yesterday and now the movie’s trailer has finally made it to the Internet. I have to admit this looks far more somber in tone than I was expecting from writer/director Shane Black. Iron Man 3 opens in theaters on May 3rd.
