My first thought when viewing the trailer for Olympus Has Fallen is why is director Antoine Fuqua making a dumbed-down Steven Seagal movie without Seagal? Gerard Butler stars as a tormented Special Forces and Secret Service officer who, in the trademark style of Casey “Fucking” Ryback, takes it on himself to save the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) when terrorists take the White House. Morgan FreemanAshley JuddRadha MitchellMelissa LeoRobert ForsterRick Yune, and Dylan McDermott also star. The movie hits theaters on March 22nd.

Entertainment Weekly is reporting Alex Kingston will join Arrow as Laurel’s (Katie Cassidy) mother Dinah Lance, who in DC Continuity was the Golden & Silver Age Black Canary. Kingston’s addition makes the second former Doctor Who companion to join the show in a recurring role (joining John Barrowman as the elder Merlyn)

The Birmingham Mail is reporting that all 11 Doctors will indeed be on hand (in one form or another) in November for Doctor Who‘s 50th Anniversary Special. According to their sources, video footage will be used to include William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton, and Jon Pertwee (the three actors who have passed on) while showrunner Steven Moffat is currently trying to convince David Tennant and Christopher Eccleston to join Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy, Paul McGann, and current Doctor Matt Smith, all of whom are on-board to reprise their roles for the anniversary episode

The Playlist is reporting Ray Liotta, Juno Temple and Jeremy Piven have all joined the cast for the Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For

Trance opens in the UK on March 27th but as yet still has no U.S. release date.
