My first thought when viewing the trailer for Olympus Has Fallen is why is director Antoine Fuqua making a dumbed-down Steven Seagal movie without Seagal? Gerard Butler stars as a tormented Special Forces and Secret Service officer who, in the trademark style of Casey “Fucking” Ryback, takes it on himself to save the President of the United States (Aaron Eckhart) when terrorists take the White House. Morgan Freeman, Ashley Judd, Radha Mitchell, Melissa Leo, Robert Forster, Rick Yune, and Dylan McDermott also star. The movie hits theaters on March 22nd.

We now have our first look at the sequel to RED. Bruce Willis, Mary-Louise Parker, Helen Mirren, and John Malkovich return (but Karl Urban, Morgan Freeman, and Rebecca Pidgeon do not). The sequel also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones, Anthony Hopkins, David Thewlis, Byung-hun Lee, and Neal McDonough. RED 2 opens in theaters on August 2nd.

The latest from director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours, Sunshine) stars James McAvoy as an art thief suffering from amnesia and Vincent Cassel as the art auctioneer so desperate to recover a recently stolen painting he enlists the help of a hypnotherapist (Rosario Dawson). Danny Sapani, Tuppence Middleton, and Ben Cura also star. Trance opens in the UK on March 27th but as yet still has no U.S. release date.
