Comic Movie News

Two more of DC heroes seem set to get their own films.  Director David Dobkin (Wedding Crashers, Shanghai Knights, Fred Claus) has confirmed he has signed to direct The Flash which will be a spin-off of the Justice League of America film we told you about last week and will center around Wally West and not (sigh) Barry Allen.  Also of note, the emerald warrior will be getting his own film as well.  Current Hollywood hub-bub puts writer/producer/director Greg Berlanti (Everwood, Brothers & Sisters) in charge of Green Lantern (a project many times killed off in development in the past).  No word yet which Lantern the film will center on (it better NOT be Kyle Rayner!).  You’ll know more when we do!
