Throwback Thursday takes us back to the unsolved crimes of passion in the wealthy playground of Palm Beach, Florida. While Chris (Rob Estes) mulls over the possibility of moving in with his girlfriend (Kristen Cloke), he and Rita (Mitzi Kapture) investigate the murder of a nanny (Alina Arenal) where all evidence points to one of Rita’s oldest friends (Claire Yarlett) who suspected the nanny was sleeping with her husband (Franc Luz). Never trusting the husband, who initially seems to have an alibi for the crime, Chris and Rita search for evidence to not only prove the affair but also motive for the crime.

Scooby-Doo! – Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Werewolf

Throwback Thursday takes us back to Scooby-Doo, Where Are You! for another mystery involving some meddling kids and their talking dog. While camping in the woods, Mystery, Inc. comes across a werewolf haunting the area around an abandoned mill. The set-up for the episode is unusual with the gang never encountering any locals before or after first learning about or sighting the creature of the week. While the mystery involving the smuggling of sheep (by bizarre means) is solved, there is no unmasking of the villain who appears unmasked and in police custody after being captured (as there is no one for the gang to recognize). “Tell Me, Tell Me” is used for the musical chase montage and the episode is notable for Fred (Frank Welker), Daphne (Heather North), and Velma (Nicole Jaffe) coming across the monster before Shaggy (Casey Kasem) or Scooby-Doo (Don Messick).

“Gold Rush” is another of those episodes where even when the FBI win a victory over Elena Federova (Morena Baccarin) they still lose. The episode, mainly dealing with the terrorist group’s control of the Federal Reserve, does see Val (Ryan Michelle Bathe) and Doak (Noah Bean) able to work together in the short term to save the country’s gold supply, at least for now. Doak’s moment of not being a corporate-ladder-climbing ass is short-lived, however, as things quickly go back to normal.

The Book of Fennec Shand – In the Name of Honor

After getting off-track for a couple of episodes, The Book of Boba Fett concludes its season with a return to the main storyline involving Boba Fett’s (Temuera Morrison) attempts to become the new crime boss of Mos Espa and fight off the invading the Pyke Syndicate. Oh, and there’s that last-minute revenge for the Tusken Raiders (well, sort of). The finale certainly doesn’t skimp on action and offers the payoff of Fett riding his Rancor (something we were told was extremely difficult and didn’t see him train for even once). Most of the episode takes place in the streets of the city as Fett’s crew fights the superior numbers and firepower of the Pykes. Most of Fett’s crew, that is.

The two-part premiere continues, answering some of my questions from “Part 1.” Zhilan (Yvonne Chapman) finds a bit of her old spirit and leaves China, although it’s still unclear what her new path will be. Mia (Vanessa Yao) continues to be painted more of a frenemy that family for Nicky (Olivia Liang) as she continues to search for answers about her past. And Nicky’s plan to take down Russell Tan (Kee Chan) fails, but we do discover some clues to what the businessman is after in his theft of ancient relics.
