Perception - Blindness

After being called in to consult on a case of a judge found dead in his chambers with a mentally-impaired janitor (Del Zamora) holding the murder weapons over the body, Daniel spins a wild theory about change blindness where Donnie (Scott Wolf) and the rest of the courtroom actually saw the killer standing in for the judge but failed to notice it was a different man. Although he can’t convince Donnie of his theory, when the killer strikes again by committing murder in front of 200 witnesses, none of whom saw it happen, the Assistant District Attorney is forced to pay a little more attention to the FBI’s consultant and his wild theories, although Daniel has troubling playing nice with the FBI profiler (Sundra Oakley) Donnie brings in on the case.

College trips arrive giving both Spencer (Troian Bellisario) and Emily (Shay Mitchell) an excuse to check out a lead on Alison‘s (Sasha Pieterse) past and that mysterious phone number, as well as begin considering what both will be doing due to Spencer missing an opportunity to get into her dream school and Emily’s shot at a swimming scholarship disappearing after her shoulder injury. After getting separated from Emily, who is more concerned with possibly applying to the “podunk” college than searching for clues about Alison, Spencer stumbles upon a secret room in the sorority which raises more questions than answers.

When the son of an old Secret Service buddy (Lochlyn Munro) dies in what the police call a suicide, King (Jon Tenney) is hired to look into what really happened. Although every sign points to the police making the correct call, with the help of Edgar (Ryan Hurst) a test dummy, King and Maxwell (Rebecca Romijn) discover the young man was pushed, not jumped, from the rooftop above the pavement where he met his end. When a bomb meant for the brother of an old friend kills another former Secret Service agent instead, King starts to believe someone is targeting the the families of former agents from King’s detail in Mexico.

Based on the John Longmire mystery series by Craig Johnson, Logmire is set around the life of Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and his job of keeping the peace in Absaroka County while trying to hide the dark secrets of his past from his daughter (Cassidy Freeman) concerning the death of her mother. In the latest episode, the Sheriff’s best friend Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) overhears a man (Rhys Coiro) trying to hire a biker (Michael Graziadei) to kill his wife (Andrea Roth). Following the kind of twisted logic the series is known for, Henry agrees to accept the job in hopes of helping Longmire set a trap to catch man before someone else takes him up on the offer.

Lois & Clark: Strange Visitor (From Another Planet) / The Green, Green Glow of Home

With a new Superman in now in theaters every now and then I’ll continue to take a look back at the hero’s more memorable moments on both the big and small screen. Much of the First Season of Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman centered around the various machinations of Lex Luthor (John Shea), but there were a pair of episodes that presented the Man of Steel with a completely different kind of adversary. “Strange Visitor (From Another Planet)” begins with shadowy government agent Jason Trask (Terence Knox) taking over the newsroom of the Daily Planet and hooking both Lois (Teri Hatcher) and Clark (Dean Cain) up to lie detectors in hopes of finding out more about the “alien menace” of Superman.
