In between both the Autobots and the Decepticons racing to rebuild their forces to get an upper hand in their never-ending war, we get a couple of battles and some moments of the Autobots with their new human friends. Transformers #5 offers some fun moments such as Starscream‘s glee in choosing how to widening the numbers of Deceptions, and later, when the Autobots make a run at the Ark, revealing the not-to-little surprise for him. Of course we also get the sheer terror from the character is seeing what Optimus Prime is now using for an arm.
There’s nothing her that is must-read, but Transformers #5 is a fan-friendly issue as both sides increase their numbers we begin to see more classic character reintroduced. Devastator is literally the biggest of the bunch, but we also get Thundercracker, Reflector, Arcee, and Jazz. Things don’t end on a good note for the Autobots, despite their small victory earlier, but let’s see if the Autobots have any tricks left up their sleeves.
