Detective Comics #939After discovering the identity of the Colony of Batmen and rescuing Batman from their clutches, the team springs into action to prevent the secret government group from fulfilling its plans. With their anonymity gone, Jake Kane accelerates his plans by sending all his drones after potential League targets without any care for potential causalities.

Along with some flashbacks to a Bruce Wayne and Katherine Kane‘s childhood, Detective Comics #939 proves to be the issue that finally highlights Red Robin and his unique skill-set. Unable to stop the killer drones, the member of the Bat-Family offers them a new target: himself. The only question is will his own Bat-Drones be able to keep him alive long enough to whittle down the Colony’s forces?

Pretty Little Liars - The DArkest Knight

The series’ final mid-season finale may not deliver the identity of A.D. (although we can cross two more possibilities off the list), but it does offer its share of moments and secrets revealed heading into the hiatus before Pretty Little Liars returns for its final ten episodes next spring. Hanna‘s (Ashley Benson) disappearance forces the Liars to get the police involved and let the authorities know about Noel Kahn‘s (Brant Daugherty) connection to the Doll House and A. As everyone believes Kahn has kidnapped Hanna the reverse is actually true, although the outcome will be far different than the Liar planned.

Star Wars #22One of the few issues to of Marvel’s Star Wars title giving us the big three all working together, Star Wars #22 features the Rebellion’s heist of an Imperial Star Destroyer under the guise of blowing up the ship and all hands on-board. Battling the Imperial Fleet while using a stealth aboard the ship (and a little luck), our heroes are able to execute the first part of their plan.

Part of the same story arc of last month’s issue focused completely on Sgt. Kreel and his new squad of elite Stormtroopers, we’ll have to wait at least another month to discover how the two plot threads are woven together over the next few issues and just what the Rebels plan to do with their new toy.

The Freemaker Adventures - Return of the Kyber Saber

“Return of the Kyber Saber” concludes the show’s season long arc involving the search for the Kyber Saber Crystals. With Naare (Grey Griffin) in control of the reconstituted Kyber Saber and on her way to Courscant to take over the Empire, the Freemakers make one last-ditch effort to get the powerful artifact and keep it out of the hands of the Sith. The finale offers Palpatine (Trevor Devall) on the run from the bloodthirsty Naare and Rowan (Nicolas Cantu) continuing to surprise with his growing Force abilities. With the quest complete the episode teases possible new adventures for the Rowan, Zander (Eugene Byrd), and Kordi (Vanessa Lengies) should the show be renewed for a second season.
