After sitting it out for two weeks following the death of Special Agent David Seigel (Warren Kole), Neal (Matt Bomer) returns to work with Peter (Tim DeKay) re-assuming his responsibilities as the con man’s handler. First up, the odd case of a confused former bank robber on the straight-and-narrow (David Call) who turns himself into the FBI after realizing he broke into a vault and stole a large sum of (already stolen) money against his will. With the bank unhelpful and refusing to admit a robbery even took place, Peter and Neal perform a two-man con which lead the pair to a psychiatrist (Elizabeth Marvel) of both the criminal who committed the robbery and the criminal who was robbed.

While Simon (Robin Williams) struggles with coming up a campaign to help promote Australian tourism, which brings back painful memories of his last big bender, the rest of the office relishes how a recent published profile on Sydney (Sarah Michelle Gellar) brings out an old co-worker (Josh Groban) whose stalking includes a (rather catchy) love song. The two stories come together when a desperate Simon, completely out of ideas, pitches the song as a jingle to the potential clients who have shot down every other idea.

After the Red Queen (Emma Rigby) captures the Knave (Michael Socha), Jafar (Naveen Andrews) demands the man’s public execution to teach all of Wonderland the cost of helping Alice (Sophie Lowe). Alice makes a new acquaintance, a thief named Lizard (Lauren McKnight) who offers to help her free their mutual friend before he looses his head. Although their rescue plan is successful, it doesn’t come without a price for both Alice, who is forced to use the first of her three wishes, and for the Knave who Jafar turns to stone when Alice makes it impossible for the wizard to kill him.
