Here’s a look at a recently released scene from Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox. I knew we were going to be stuck with Flashpoint character designs and storylines, but anyone else concerned with the look of the animation (specifically the design of Flashpoint Batman)? The movie will be released on July 30th on Blu-ray and DVD.
Based on the John Longmire mystery series by Craig Johnson, Logmire is set around the life of Wyoming Sheriff Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor) and his job of keeping the peace in Absaroka County while trying to hide the dark secrets of his past from his daughter (Cassidy Freeman) concerning the death of her mother. In the latest episode, the Sheriff’s best friend Henry (Lou Diamond Phillips) overhears a man (Rhys Coiro) trying to hire a biker (Michael Graziadei) to kill his wife (Andrea Roth). Following the kind of twisted logic the series is known for, Henry agrees to accept the job in hopes of helping Longmire set a trap to catch man before someone else takes him up on the offer.

The Wrap is reporting that Lakeshore Entertainment has hired David Hayter (Watchmen, X2) to adapt the Luna Brothers‘ The Sword for the big screen. The insanely good comic follows the bloody adventures of a paraplegic teenager who is gifted with magical sword which restores her ability to walk as well as makes her nearly invulnerable on her quest to kill the family of gods who murdered her parents

The Vulture is reporting that although Dan Harmon is returning to Community this Fall, another one of the show’s stars won’t be, at least not for the full run. Donald Glover will only make appearances in five of the show’s scheduled 13 Fifth Season episodes
And then everything goes straight to hell. The final issue of this first arc doesn’t end well for anyone. First, the Baroness has to deal with the mutiny of the mercenaries who have decided they’d rather kill her and take Cobra’s cash for their own. Next, Serpentor‘s Coil soldiers arrive to retreive the money and the Baroness’ head. And finally, the group of JOEs are stuck in the middle of everything as all hell breaks loose and the storm picks up, threatening to sink everyone aboard.
The JOEs are able to successfully tag Cobra’s money, but with it all once again buried at the bottom of the ocean it’s not really a victory worth celebrating. The Baroness gets away, although without the plunder she was seeking, and Coil is left empty-handed as well. And to save their teammates aboard the ship, Scarlett and Mainframe are forced to put their own lives at risk as well.
Although we didn’t get as much Scarlett as expected, this is good end to a pretty good opening arc although it still hasn’t sold me completely on the series. Next month: Dreadnoks. Worth a look.
