Bryan Mills is a pussy. Director Kenji Tanigaki offers a tale of a mute handyman (Xie Miao) out to find his kidnapped daughter (Yang Enyou). At the same time we’re given a parallel story of a journalist (Joe Taslim) searching for his partner (Jeeja Yanin) who goes missing in the opening scene while investigating the human trafficking ring scooping up children from the poorer regions of the city.

Eraser may not be one of Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s best, but it’s a solid 90s action flick casting Schwarzenegger as U.S. Marshal John Kruger going the extra length to keep his witness alive from a governmental conspiracy and a mole within WITSEC. Schwarzenegger gets his usual big action sequences, although I’m not sure I ever quite buy the actor in a role that requires both stealth and the ability to blend into a crowd.

Murder Mystery Monday takes us back to the early 20th Century and another case for the famous Belgian detective Hercule Poirot to solve while on his travels. While vacationing with Captain Hastings (Hugh Fraser) in the Cornish resort town of St. Loo, Poirot (David Suchet) makes the acquaintance of Nick Buckley (Polly Walker). After hearing her recount a series of close calls, Poirot becomes convinced someone is attempting to kill her. Setting out to prevent a murder, however, Poirot’s actions only lead to a different murder taking place.
