The Acolyte - Episode 7

“Choice,” the seventh episode of the season, provides the Jedi perspective to the same events of the season’s third episode, “Destiny.” I don’t think we needed another full episode flashback episode here which seems like a bit of waste considering the show is winding to a close and also there’s not really anything new presented or revealed. We see the growing tensions between the Jedi and the witches, the spark which ignites, and Sol‘s (Lee Jung-jae) fear for the safety of the children. And, unable to save them both, we see his choice to save Osha (Lauren Brady), but it’s simply a matter of perspective with no new information provided. The only real bright spot is the episode offers more of Kelnacca and Indara (Carrie-Anne Moss) who were underutilized for most of the season.
