Arrow - The Recruits

Both the main story and the flashbacks to Oliver‘s (Stephen Amell) time in Russia center around training this week. Using the methods he learned from the Bratva, Green Arrow attempts to train Curtis (Echo Kellum), Wild Dog (Rick Gonzalez), and Evelyn Sharp (Madison McLaughlin). However, his tough love method doesn’t earn him any friends. Meanwhile Ollie’s day job isn’t without troubles as a full-day free clinic runs trouble first from funding issues and latter by the appearance of Ragman (Joe Dinicol) who shows up to take vengeance.

Once Upon a Time - The Other Shoe

Having already explored the origins of Cinderella in the show’s First Season, “The Other Shoe” takes a look at untold story of Ashley‘s (Jessy Schram) stepsister Clorinda (Mekenna Melvin) who, along with her evil stepmother (Lisa Banes), has been brought to Storybrooke from the Land of Untold Stories. Aside from delving a little more into Cinderella’s tale, the story’s main focus is to showcase an example of how the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) plans to used the strangers brought into Storybrooke to sew the seeds of destruction. In much the same way David (Josh Dallas) continues to obsess about his father’s coin and the truth about his passing which it turns out is more complicated than he always believed.

Green Arrow #8Green Arrow may be trapped on an island in the middle of the nowhere (again), but at least this time he isn’t alone. Green Arrow #8 begins a new story arc with Ollie, Dinah, and Diggle on a deserted island (which it turns out isn’t exactly deserted).

While Diggle is taken prisoner by a mechanical bear and dragged to underground lair, Ollie and Dinah reconnect and, thanks to their picturesque surroundings, are given the opportunity to have the kind of vacation neither hero would ever likely agree to. As to just who, and what, are on the island with them, we’ll have to await and see as “Island of Scars” plays out. Now that our heroes are back together, and have finished their brief respite, it’s time to get back to work.

With Liz (Megan Boone) and Tom (Ryan Eggold) safe, Reddington (James Spader) turns his attention to finding Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) and rescuing baby Agnes. This involves tracking town “criminal incubator” Miles McGrath (Tate Ellington) who is planning a heist of biological specimens (and potential weapons), one of which Kirk has strong interests in. With the help of Tom, who goes undercover for part of the heist crew, Reddington is able to prevent Kirk from getting his hands on the virus but is not able to capture Kirk or recover the missing baby.
