On the planet Nagi, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Rynn Zenat, and Beilert Valance search for the Dark Azanti witch Reyna Oskure who has been secretly pulling the strings causing the conflict among the New Republic, the Pirrosi, and the Nagai. Oskure is an interesting enemy, hiding behind-the-scenes, although we finally do get a face-to-face meeting at the end of the comic.

Taking a few good-natured shots at the worst of the Star Wars films (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones), Duck Dodgers (Jeff Bennett) comes up with an ingenuous way to stop a fleet of alien monsters about to attack the Earth by cloning an army of robotic versions of himself. For a Duck Dodgers plan, it’s an unqualified success. However, dealing with the rampaging robot ducks afterwards turns out to be an entirely new problem in need of a solution.

With tongue planted firmly in cheek, 2000’s big-screen adaption of the late 70s TV show gave us Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore, Lucy Liu as three talented agents workng for a man named Charlie (voiced by John Forsythe who reprised his role from the series). A massive box office hit, staying at number one for four weeks in a row, Charlie’s Angels took some flack from some critics for aspects of its plot and its cheesecake factor which director McG would lean into even more heavily in the film’s sequel.

While not making googly-eyes, Sydney (Kelly) works to out-sell the other competitors (Sean Amsing, Flula Borg, and Astrid Whettnall).

The worst kept secret in Hollywood is that Chevy Chase is an asshole. No stranger to documenting complicated men, director Marina Zenovich never shies away from the topic while also struggling to show a softer side to the comedian turned actor. I don’t know that there’s any big revelation in I’m Chevy Chase and You’re Not, except perhaps even when attempting to be on his best behavior Chase can’t help but use comedy as a weapon to cut deep as the man who loves to be celebrated chafes at being critiqued or asked to be introspective.
