Moon Knight

Moon Knight #22

Moon Knight #22 offers a Tigra-centric issue (which I’m totally onboard for, even if she answers an important question incorrectly), with a supporting appearance by her son (whose true paternity is revealed), as she works through a new version of one of Moon Knight’s old enemies hitting rich gangsters around town. Although we get plenty of Tigra as mother, hunter, and detective, it’s her role as friend and her relationship to Marc Spector that is central to the issue.

Moon Knight #21

Following up on the attacks on Moon Knight‘s former friends and associates, Moon Knight #21 focuses more on his current sidekicks than our main character as Reese and Soldier head out dancing at a club one night only to find themselves fighting for their lives against an angry mob turned crazed by a yet-not-disclosed sound weapon from a not-yet-disclosed super-villain working for a not-yet-disclosed mastermind targeting Moon Knight and his friends.

Moon Knight #19

Moon Knight #19 offers a back-and-forth between parallel stories. We get Moon Knight and Hunter’s Moon deep in the subterranean tunnels below the city fighting the definition of a throwaway character in Commodore Donald Planet. Moon Knight #18

Moon Knight‘s battle with the Tutor comes to a close as he and Tigra crash the vampire’s party to bring a few presents of their own in violence and death. We get some great back-and-forth dialogue between Moon Knight and Tutor, as our hero stalls a bit for time allowing his back-up to arrange the first-half of his surprise in setting off the ball room’s sprinkler system. With the Tutor still oblivious to the dangers his entire network is in, the priest of Khonshu blesses the water.
