An investigation into the murder of a victim whose body was drained of blood before the body disappears leads Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) to deduce an old enemy known only as M. (Vinnie Jones) has followed him from London and set up shop in New York. Holmes educates Captain Gregson (Aidan Quinn) and his men on the methodical manner of killer with at least 37 victims (of varying age, appearance, and social status) and with no known photograph or description of his appearance.

Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) is hired by the president (Reg Rogers) of a security company renown worldwide as the “world’s foremost maker of bank vaults” to discover how the company’s unbreakable safe was breached leading the the theft of $40 million in diamonds. Despite his initial assessment of needing only an hour to come up with the answer, the case proves to be far trickier than he originally believed. Maybe he should have stayed in bed with those twins (both played by Tonya Glanz) after all.

While suffering from a fever Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) agrees to help the police in their investigation of the brutal murder of a college professor with a secret gambling addiction. With Detective Bell’s (Jon Michael Hill) help, Holmes discovers the underground Chinese gambling parlor where the man was killed as well as video footage of their robber and murderer (Lord Jamar), but that’s only the  beginning of the story as he was hired to shoot the victim in both eyes by someone who worked with him.

Sherlock Holmes (Jonny Lee Miller) is called in to investigate a bombing at a web design company that left two people dead and several others injured. Although the police are able to track the phone used to set off the explosion it turns out to be a dead end when the all they find at the other end of the line is a plumber (Adam Mucci) who mistakenly misdialed while trying to get in touch with his favorite deli. A little more investigating leads Holmes to discover the bomb was made, and set in place, more than four years ago, silently waiting for a call that never came.
