Nikita - Masks

Amanda (Melinda Clarke) continues her game as she has Danforth (Richard T. Jones) assassinated, taking away Division’s man inside the White House, and watches joyfully as her puppets continue to do her bidding. After hiding all evidence of her shooting Ryan (Noah Bean), Alex (Lyndsy Fonseca) continues to lead the resistance inside Division and even begins openly talking about leaving Division with Birkhoff (Aaron Stanford). Owen (Devon Sawa) becomes increasingly unstable after Amanda pays him a visit and forces his suppressed memories and originally personality to return.

Owen, or “Sam,” uses Nikita (Maggie Q) and Division resources to find and kill the remaining living member of his old Army before turning on Nikita who he plans to sell to Amanda before disappearing for good. Owen delvers Nikita to Amanda, but to get his payday he’ll have to find a way to get his hands on Percy’s Black Box which Amanda can use to make him an extremely wealthy man. Amanda spends her first few hours with Nikita gloating about her brainwashing jobs on both Alex and Owen and enjoys watching Nikita helpless as her loved ones turn on her and everything she has built begins to crash down around her.

Back in Division Michael (Shane West) continues to interrogate Rachel (Jessica Camacho) about her co-conspirators as Alex works on finding a way to disable the trackers. When Owen contacts Michael with a story about being ambushed by Amanda, Michael takes an alpha team and heads into the field leaving Alex in command of Ops and with all the necessary clearances to disable Birkhoff’s security procedures, but when Sean (Dillon Casey) discovers the truth Alex looses control of the situation and her little rebellion becomes an armed mutiny that threatens the lives of every person she cares about.

With Nikita in Amanda’s hands, Owen in control of the Black Box, Michael incarcerated, Ryan still in intensive care, and everyone else Alex cares about staring down the end of a rifle as her treachery is finally exposed “Masks” ends on quite a cliffhanger. On the bright side, Owen is trapped inside Division unable to deliver the box to Amanda, and Alex has finally begun to realize that her ingenious plan to protect everyone isn’t turning out how she planned.

  1. This was an amazing episode. I hope they keep Owen a villain because he’s so much cooler now than he used to be. I don’t know how they are going to get Alex out of her situation without lots of dead bodies and to see what Amanda has in store for Nikita but I can’t wait to find out!

  2. This episode was so good and the preview for next week looked amazing. Is the series coming back because it looks like they are building up to a big finale?
