Pretty Little Liars - Misery Loves Company

As Aria (Lucy Hale) fights off a nasty cold her friends each deal with their own surprises on a stormy night in Rosewood. A bed-ridden Aria has a fevered dream about Alison (Sasha Pieterse) who warns her about an increasingly erratic Meredith (Amanda Schull), hell-bent on finding the missing pages from Alison’s diary, only to awake to discover herself drugged and locked in her own bedroom.

Hanna (Ashley Benson) arrives for an important job interview at a designer boutique only to be attacked by a hooded A who accidentally leaves a clue behind that will have serious repercussions for a member of the group before the night is over. Spencer (Troian Bellisario) pretends to dread attending a dinner with her mother (Lesley Fera) while preparing a surprise anniversary dinner for  Toby (Keegan Allen), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) tries to make Paige (Lindsey Shaw) feel better after their recent misadventure while agreeing to tail Caleb (Tyler Blackburn) for Hanna, who is worried he might get in over his head making a run at Mona (Janel Parrish).

Getting a glimpse of an out-of-control Meredith at the pharmacy, and fearing for their friend, Emily and Hanna head to Aria’s home just as the storm hits only to find themselves locked in the basement with Aria by Meredith. Although Meredith disappears before finding what she was looking for, Aria’s father (Chad Lowe) returns early from his convention to release the threesome from the cellar and have a frank discussion with his daughter about the series of events the night Alison died.

As the show comes to a close Spencer has made a life-shattering discovery about Toby’s true allegiances and motivations, Aria has made peace with her father, Meredith’s true motivations have become clearer, Mona once again stands triumphant, and Paige and Caleb decide if no one else will take down Mona they will have to do it themselves.

Just watched this one as I try to catch up before the final. I can’t believe Toby is part of the A-Team. I love Toby. Grrrrr.
