Star Wars Rebels - Wings of the Master

The struggles of the Rebels continue when Phoenix Squadron is turned back by an Imperial blockade while attempting to deliver food and supplies to the planet of Ibaar. Needing a game-changer, Hera (Vanessa Marshall) heads to the desolate planet of Shantipole with Zeb (Steve Blum) and Sabine (Tiya Sircar) in hopes of convincing the reclusive shipbuilder Quarrie (Corey Burton) to give the Rebels his new blockage buster: a prototype ship known as the B-Wing.

“Wings of the Master” is a fun story for longtime Star Wars fans giving them the chance to see the first flight of one of the more unique ships in the universe. I’m a little surprised at the power the prototype packs (I don’t remember these ships going one-on-one with Star Destroyers and having anywhere near the same luck), but the episode is still enjoyable and allows Hera to show of her skill-set in a way that’s more than just fleeing the Empire or providing transport to the Ghost‘s crew.
