Marvel Meow #1 collects Nao Fuji’s Infinity Comic digital series featuring the fluffy adorable cats from across the Marvel Universe owned by Earth’s Mightiest Heroes (and a few villains) getting underfoot, and filling the pages will all kinds of cuddly cuteness. Highlights include Dr. Doom‘s solution to his loneliness taking a page from the heroes’ feline friends, Mysterio getting more than he bargained for when Spider-Man mistakes him for Carol Danvers, various heroes offering to cat sit including the Fantastic Four, Wolverine and the X-Men, and Loki turning himself into a cat to get some attention (and have a little mischief), and Dr. Octopus playing with the cats of Black Cat.

Vengeance of Moon Knight #1

Marc Spector is dead. Isn’t he? We’ll get back to that one. Kicking off a new series we get a throwback to the previous series with a character, this time Reese rather than Marc Spector, talking things through with Dr. Andrea Sterman which offers the framing to see events of the past few weeks play out. Most of the issue is with the characters struggling to move on after Marc’s death, the Midnight Mission holding shiva for their fallen friend (with a few Marvel heroes stepping by to pay their respects) and then getting back to work.

Scooby-Doo goes to the circus. A new volume of The Batman & Scooby-Doo Mysteries opens up with an issue involving Mystery, Inc. and Nightwing being hired by Haley’s Circus to discover why Deadman is haunting the big show, putting performers in danger, and threatening to shut the circus down. Nightwing looks great drawn by Dario Brizuela, as does Deadman.

Near death, Sonja journeys into the diamond to converse with the god trapped within the jewel. Hoping to free the damned, those cursed by the choices they made, Sonja makes a decision that turns out to have unanticipated consequences. In the world both Kulan Gath, reincarnated in a mortal vessel, at least for a time, and Thord Varg each carve bloody swaths through the kingdom. The stories combine when Varg walks through the door created by Sonja, reengaging his enemy in a final battle.

There’s not an abundance of plot in Harley Quinn #35 with pages and pages devoted to Harley‘s monologuing and freaking out about her problems and the evil Brother Eyes monologuing about their plans (without giving anything away). The issue boils down into the evil Brother Eyes kidnapping Harley’s students and holding them hostage as an attempt to bait Harley into a trap while also infecting most of Harley’s new multiversal friends with their virus.
